The best time for fishing in Dubai is from October to May. During these cooler months, the weather is pleasant, and fish are more active. The period from October to March is especially good for catching bigger fish like pelagic species. In the hotter months, from June to September, fishing can still be done, but it’s better to go early in the morning when it’s cooler. For shore fishing, early morning and late afternoon are the best times, as the water is not too warm.
Wear light, breathable clothes to stay cool. A hat and sunglasses will help protect you from the sun. A long-sleeve shirt gives extra protection, and a light jacket might be useful during cooler mornings or evenings in winter. Don’t forget to apply high-SPF sunscreen.
